Apple Releases iOS 10.2 New Emoji’s and TV App

Apple on Monday released its latest update to its iOS system, 10.2. With the release brings a lot of new changes to the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices.

One of the largest and most noticeable features to iOS 10.2, is the TV app. The TV app replaces the Video app, and has been completely rewritten, to improve video viewing experiences. Content can now be shared through all of your iOS devices. Downloads from the iTunes store will now play through the TV app, as well as other third party apps content. Siri has also been update to assist with the new app, for example, you can ask for recommendations.

For those who love their emoji icons, Apple has added 100 new Unicode emoji characters. Some of these characters include an avocado, bacon, shrug, and selfie emoji. Existing emoji’s have also been updated for retina displays.

Other iOS 10.2 updates include, new background effects for messages. Now send messages to other iOS devices with the new send with love and celebration screen effect. There are also some bug fixes for FaceTime, Photos, and Mail.
